Not delivery/ apology/ poor customer service :(
Very disappointed with the lack of communication when the furniture has not been delivered when arranged. We were supposed to get our furniture few days ago. My husband took an unpaid day off and the furniture was supposed to be delivered between 1.30-4.30. We did not get the delivery and when we rang them we were still assured that they were on their way. Well it dod not happen. There was no apology/ phone call from the delivery or customer services to let us know that they will not deliver. Very disappointed with such a big company and not sure if i would recommend them to anyone. Very unprofessional. What a shame.

Excellent value for such good quality furniture
Purchased a TV stand and nest of tables, to go with dining room furniture I purchased several years ago from oak furnitureland at a very reasonable price for such solid, good quality furniture. Received excellent friendly service throughout

I walked into your Chelmer village…
I walked into your Chelmer village store on 19/7/22 to look at your dining room tables. I came out with not only purchasing said table but we also came out with a leather 3 piece suit. say no more. Hats off to your sales rep Damian Benstead. We are over the moon with our purchases and can not wait for delivery. PS My home is full of Oak Furnitureland furniture. Ron.

Unreliable delivery slots!
4 delivery dates and still no sofa!
Myself and my partner were advised to look at Oak Furnitureland sofas as they are apparently well-made! We ordered our sofa for our first home back in April/May time and yet we are still waiting despite 4 delivery dates being given to us!
Last week, I was told 4 hours before the delivery time that my order could not be delivered and to rebook a slot. Earliest slot was then 2 weeks away, managed to get an earlier slot for this week when one became available. I get the same text message today as last week that my delivery time has been "delayed for an hour" which put me on edge. I managed to call at lunch time (I am a teacher so cannot use my phone easily) to which they told me my order was still scheduled and was on the way to me.
I then hear from my cousin who came to sit in and wait for the delivery due to us both working, that the sofa was "missing" from the truck and was not delivered! So yet again, I am being left without a sofa. When called, we were given the date of the 22nd and then a text confirmation came through for the 27th. When clarified, they stated again it was the 22nd. Something still didn't seem right, so I called again and was told no, it will be the 27th but could not be confirmed. I was also told that the information regarding my sofa not being delivered today would have been on the system this morning so I am not sure whether I am being lied too or just the company having below standard communication.
To further add to my annoyance, my partner looked at the delivery dates being offered for our exact sofa and they can be delivered within a week! A member called me asking whether he would like to complete the order in his basket. Why are they still wanting new orders when they cannot fulfil my order that I have been waiting months for? She then sent me another confirmation of my sofa delivery for the 14/7/22 ONLY 6 DAYS ago! Shoddy.
So yet again, I am being left without a sofa I paid good money for. I am very unimpressed with this company as it is known for it's good reputation. I will not be ordering from here again any time soon. No sign of compensation or goodwill gestures.

We were left alone to browse and as soon as we needed some advise Sahir provided it. He was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable .
We placed our order and he advised us on the aftercare etc. Excellent customer service.
